While I understand that you're all extremely busy with this weeks assignment... no out-takes makes Jules a sad panda =(

Now now Jules, no need to cry. I'll post a couple just for you :P
doesn't he look depressed? This was actually my first idea, but I discarded it as being too simple. Not the background mind you, but the pose - I <3 Billy's /sit
For those that watch lost, this is my Jack impression - doesn't that area of shing jea look like the lost island?
Forgot to take off my shirt - doh.

I didn't really have many outtakes, just two different versions of the same shot, really. This was actually my favorite idea for last week's assignment, but since you couldn't see my face I figured it was a bad idea for the contest(especially since a judge pointed out not seeing enough face on the shot I sent in):
and
Basically the same shot. A little different, I suppose...

I really like your sitting shot Lucy, although it's probably best that you didn't use it because it looks like you're sitting next to a river more than on an island staring longingly out to sea.
I like your out-takes too Seamus, but I can see why you didn't use them. One of the hardest things I found about last weeks assignment was trying to capture both your character and have them gazing out to sea at the same time without turning your back on the camera.
GL to everyone this week... and I was sorting through my old photos and I found this one again - premonition of the final four or what?

Lol, that's hax Tidus... I just watched Lucy's youtube slideshow for Billy and it made me sad... took me back through the comp to all her shoots and now she's gone
Here are some of my better out takes from assignment 8:
Loved this one, but I knew the judges would hammer me for hiding my face (even though I think it adds to the matador feel)... oh yeah, and my scythe is clipping through my leg.
I like this one of the Minotaur too, kind of looks like Jules is some bad ass angel with a purple halo delivering the death blow... but you can't see the minotaur's face and just the fact that the minotaur is not really looking at Jules makes it feel a bit awkward.
Thought this devourer shot was better than the one I submitted as Mr. Thorny is mirroring the adult whiptail (as if he's learning from it). But Jules' arm is shadowing his face and it's a bit far off.
Nice action shot with Jules and Rurik but the heal and sword swinging animation ruined it.
Hawt face off shot between Jules and Rurik, but sword swinging animation looks bad and Jules looks a bit weird.

I like the first one. The background is perfect. And the look in his eyes is hot.
And the one where hes kissing her wrist is great. If only her pose was a bit better.
GO TEAM TIDUS!

Here are the out-takes for my poster:
I was tossing and turning over whether to use this shot or the one I did. This one is cleaner, shows more of Jules and is more directed to the camera. But the image is smaller, isn't as painterly as the shot I submitted and just didn't give me the same feeling that the one I submitted did... hot none the less.
This was probably my favourite shot of the series, but it was obviously not the sort of shot I could use for TMWM.

Another gorgeous shot with great composition, but I felt this was too much about the wings and not enough about Julius. I was pretty cautious about using wings at all and decided that if I did they would be there to compliment Julius in the shot, not make the shot itself. Take the wings out of this shot and there's a whole lot of dead space.

Nice shot... still a little too wingy for my liking.
I liked this shot because it was simple and understated. It's also a subtle example of topless mesmer arm glitching.

Late as always, but here were the alternate shots I had to choose from for the finale:
Runner up favorite. My biggest problem were the fingers wrapped around Amergin's waist. They did read well to me. There was also a bit of armor glitching on one of the shoulders.
Never got much consideration to be honest, but I thought it was nice...
To have shots with a warmer pallette I have these two shots which were almost identical save the shield. I photoshopped them quite a bit to pull shadows away from the face, but they still weren't quite as appealing. Here's the other one:
A great cycle and I hope everyone else had as much fun as I did!
